One of the earliest memories I had regarding my impending marriage, is a conversation I had with my old friend at a Mamak’s. He’s one of few closest friends that I’ve disclosed my pure intention (hehe) to..

“Aku nak kawin la, beb.”

He burst into laughter, and then started asking question. One of them were, “Orang mane weh?”

“Orang Kedah.”

Being a resourceful person that he think he is, came a swift reply. ”Giler ar orang Kedah.. baca talqin dalam Jawi tu!” 

I had to question his statement. “Baca talqin?”

“Ye ar.. kat Kedah nak baca talqin depan Tok Kadi tu kene dalam Jawi! Tak kan tak tau kot..?”

I just smile.

“Aku nak kawin la, bukan nak pegi tengok orang kene kebumi…”

i think i can dance…

I’m not really a fan of reality tv shows, but I must admit that ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ manages keep me entertain for a long period of time. I’m just amaze with the ability of the contestants adjusting their limbs to difficult positions in such high speed. The choreography was unbelievable too. They really are some creative lots. 

But I bet even the show’s best contestants will struggle to dance like this…
